I booked an apartment with a balcony and sea view, but when I arrived I was given a different room. The sea was only visible off to the side of the balcony. The manager said someone in my booked apartment had Covid and offered options in other buildings. We were worn out from the trip, so we paid extra for a room at Alliance Palace Batumi. The bed was broken and bowed in the middle. When I told the manager, he insisted it wasn’t broken and called it a modern style. If you lie near the edge, you slide toward the middle. I couldn’t sleep properly. Someone came to inspect it the next day, and the manager said he’d come on the second day to fix it. He just tried to adjust the middle rod by hand, and that was it. I had to keep sleeping on the broken bed since my card had already been charged and I didn’t want the hassle of packing and moving again. There’s no room service. The manager did respond and tried to help, but be careful when booking a private place. I’d recommend booking a hotel.

These are wonderful hotel apartments with sea views, and they’re suitable for families. Some units have a kitchen, washing machine, and bidet. The service is excellent.
