Boulevardside Batumi

I took a walk on the beach before leaving in the morning. It's right across the street, and the view from the hotel is great. I only needed a place near the airport for one night, and this suited me perfectly. The lobby was nicely decorated, and the staff were super friendly and helpful. Breakfast was included and very nice. The room had what you'd expect, although it felt a bit damp, especially in the bathroo. The AC worked well and helped dry it out a little.

The reception boys deserve applause. They were very friendly and helpful, and the rooftop view was cool. But that doesn't make up for the feeling that the hotel is run on a best-effort basis. There are at least 2 construction sites next door, and there is no parking. Water dripped from the bathroom ceiling. The shower faucet was turned upside down, so hot and cold came out on the opposite sides. I had to learn that the hard way. Breakfast was moderately disgusting, with hair in the eggs and close to zero choices. The cleaning lady took the used towels without leaving fresh ones. Yes, but...

I picked this hotel on May 21, 2022, partly because its pool was one of the few I found that was open. The view was really good, and breakfast was tasty and worth the price. The rooms and other things could be better, but the staff were so friendly and professional. Their way of treating guests made up for the weak spots. If you want a nice place with genuinely kind service, I’d recommend it ❤️

The staff are very friendly and always willing to help, and breakfast has some good days when everything tastes great. The selection is limited, though, and the dishes often repeat. My third-floor room had a sea view, but the road out front stays noisy late at night, so sleeping with the window open was impossible. The damp, humid room made me want to open it, which also let mosquitoes in, and their bites were nasty. There are no mosquito screens on the balcony doors. For a quieter stay, I’d suggest a room at the back or on the top floor, and bring repellent.
