Four Seasons Hotel

We had our best days in Georgia here ♥️. The family who runs the place treated us like one of their own, and they were kind, generous, flexible, and helpful. The rooms were very clean and tidy, with daily cleaning service. It's close to grocery shops, Nuri Lake, the zoo, aquarium, dolphinarium, and Batumi beach.

This little family-run hotel is well located and the rooms are good. Communication was hard, despite their efforts. I only stayed one night to sleep, and it was fine for that. Breakfast comes with Turkish coffee, which I don't like, and not much sweet food in the morning, so it wasn't really for me. As is often the case in Georgia, breakfast starts at 9, which means you can't get an early start to the day.

The reception girl was very kind and polite, but the owner wasn't very helpful. We asked for an invoice, and it took two days, several calls from us, and a lot of convincing to get one. He even tried to charge us an extra 20% of the room price for providing it. The rooms are in bad shape, with lots of mold on the walls and poor cleaning. The place seems suspicious: there's no sign or anything to identify it from the street, and it's quite far from the center. The stairways are being used to store second-hand clothes. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

The rooms were clean and pleasant, and the air conditioning worked well. It’s about a 25-minute walk to Old Batumi, since the hotel is outside the tourist area. The owners were kind and very helpful. I’d recommend it.
