Green Villa

At midnight, a couple in another room were having sex and moaning very loudly, and nobody warned them. We had trouble sleeping. Earlier, the receptionist put us in the wrong room, and the boss shouted harshly at both her and us because we'd accepted it. They kicked us out of that room and moved us elsewhere, but the room wasn't clean enough. This was the worst hotel experience of my life.

Never again. My booking was prepaid and non-refundable, but after I arrived the owner insisted I pay an extra amount, about a third of the original price, or he wouldn't let me into the room. He shouted and kept pushing for the money, which was super rude and unacceptable. I felt forced to pay or leave. When I asked why he used Expedia and booking if he disagreed with the pricing terms he'd accepted with them, he gave no answer. Better find another hotel.

We were charged for two nights even though we stayed only one day and an extra five hours. The room itself was extremely small. There was no kettle or cups for coffee or cup noodles, and when we asked, the owner said hot water was downstairs. What we got was warm, not hot enough for morning coffee. We also asked for two glasses for water or wine, but he said he was busy and never brought them. In the middle of the night, he banged on the door and then opened it to show the room to other guests, without apologizing for disturbing us while we slept. The balcony door wouldn't lock, so someone from the next room could easily get in through the balcony. At check-in, the owner said our reserved economy room was occupied by the hotel, then showed us rooms that cost more than our reservation. We finally chose one of those. Afterward, he asked us to cancel our Booking.com reservation using the option that says we'd stayed in another hotel.

The staff were friendly, but that was about the only good part. We paid 110 lari for a room with a balcony, hoping for an upgrade from the tiny, dirty budget room. It was still small, and three air-conditioning units outside made the balcony too noisy to enjoy. The bed was so uncomfortable that we didn't sleep at all. They said the other rooms cost even more, so there was no better option. After two awful nights we left a night early, and they wouldn't refund us. We'd rather lose the money than stay another night. Don't go there.
