Guesthouse Gio

The owners made us feel almost like family, and you can walk to Gonio fortress, shops, a pharmacy, and a bakery. The beach is about a five-minute stroll away. We had breakfast and lunch from the buffet each day, ordering them separately, and really enjoyed the food. We even stayed for lunch after checking out on departure day, since it cost less than at other places. Our fifth-floor balcony room looked out over the sea and sunsets. There's no elevator, which could be an issue for some. The room is small but practical, with a fridge, air conditioning, bedside tables, and a wardrobe. The shower had reliably hot water. We asked for a kettle and got that and all the dishes we needed. There's a pleasant pool, swings, and a children's playhouse on the property, along with a small shop for essentials. The owners take good care of the hotel. I'd definitely recommend staying here :)

The bathroom was way too tiny, but the hotel itself was pretty good and we had a fun stay.

A comfortable, pleasant spot, and the hosts are really friendly. Highly recommend.

For the price, the rooms are good.
