Hilton Batumi

Giorgi looked after us so well at Nefele Sky Bar and helped me make a good choice. My wife and I loved the T-bone steak, it was amazing and worth it. We got potatoes with bacon on the side too 🤌 Big thanks to the chef for such a delicious meal, and for a great way to end the day!

My room was beautiful, spotless, and really comfortable, and check-in was quick and easy. Everyone I met was friendly, warm, and professional, so I felt relaxed and at home throughout my stay. I also liked the rooftop bar and its pleasant evening atmosphere. I had to leave very early one morning, and the staff thoughtfully put together a breakfast to go for me. Everything felt welcoming and easy. I really enjoyed my time here and would stay again! ✨🍃

The facilities and location are great, and the staff were kind and pleasant. The breakfast was really great too. I do recommend Hilton in Batumi, though the service could use some refinement, and we also need to manage our expectations in a foreign country. I booked the junior executive suite with a panoramic view, and the room was AMAZING. The spa facilities were great, though there was no jacuzzi. At check-in, they asked me to pay for the booking again even though I’d already paid on booking. They had trouble with their currencies and couldn’t see the payment, so I had to prove it. That took a good 20 minutes. We settled it, and I got two free cocktails for the inconvenience. Room cleaning didn’t happen in the morning or at noon during any of our three nights. I heard other hotel guests shouting at the front desk about it too. After asking three times in one day, a cleaner finally came at 21:00. I politely said no, we were going to eat and then come back to bed, and asked them to try in the morning. I did get toilet paper, though. When we returned from dinner, someone had been in the room. The beds were still a mess, but there was a fruit plate and two more free cocktails waiting :) The menus are very clear about what’s in each dish, which is helpful for allergies. But staff may say something has no lactose when it does. In Georgia generally, we found people sometimes acted like they understood and then did the opposite of what we asked. We speak Russian, as did the locals we talked to, so it wasn’t a language issue. We’d say, “one bed, two nights, no room...” and get “two nights, one room, no beds...” Lollll :D

The staff treated us so well, and we especially enjoyed the spa, casino, and food. This place really deserves its five stars. I truly recommend it!
