The guesthouse feels quite home-like: the rooms are privately owned and the owners stay in them when they aren't booked, so half the closet was taken up with personal things. Be prepared for plenty of talking and getting to know people. The sheets and towels were clean when we arrived, which is fine for a stay of a few days or a week. We were there for 21 days and had to ask for fresh ones ourselves. You also need to do your own cleaning. During those 21 days, they mopped twice and swept once. Our room had no balcony, and the bathroom was across the hall. It had apparently never been cleaned, and the owners used it when rooms were occupied. There is a kitchen for cooking, though someone from the family is always around. Breakfast is basic but enough to keep you from going hungry. The guesthouse is new and in its second season. If it doesn't deteriorate, it's comfortable enough for a couple of nights or a week. The sea is about a 13-17 minute walk, almost in a straight line. Our window faced construction, which seems normal in Batumi unless you have a sea view. There was noise from the road, construction, and people outside the house, but I sleep soundly, so it didn't bother me. Buses to the old town, where the main activity is, take 15-20 minutes depending on traffic. A minibus to Sarpi costs 50 tetri. We left a bus card with the owner, and it can be topped up at the orange ATM shown in the attached photo. The fare is 30 tetri (kopecks). Bus #10 goes to the Botanical Garden.

Everything is within walking distance, and the breakfasts are generous and really good. A great place.
