Hostel Jeal

The room was dirty and smelled bad. The floor was filthy, the toilet reeked of urine, and the shower was still wet and dirty from the guests before us. There were no towels or soap, and no detergent for the kitchen dishes either. The host at Jeal hostel/apartments got our reservation wrong, booking one room for our big group instead of two. He kept shouting at us, even after admitting he gets very emotional. That’s no way to speak to guests. He held on to our prepayment, charged us more for a bigger room, and wouldn’t acknowledge that he’d made a mistake. I've traveled all over the world and never had such a rude host. We’ve met many kind and welcoming hosts in low-cost apartments in Georgia, but this definitely wasn't one of them. I can’t recommend this place.
