The location was the only real plus for me, and I can’t recommend this hotel after my stay. It was one of my worst hotel experiences. Sleep was nearly impossible. The rooms have so little soundproofing they feel as if there are no windows, and a nearby nightclub plays loud music until around 2 a.m. The rooms are dated but passable. The bathroom was in far worse shape: several fixtures were broken, water leaked onto the floor, and the shower doors wouldn’t shut properly. I tried temporary fixes myself, but they only held briefly. Breakfast was disappointing too. The hot food trays were empty within 20 minutes of opening. Staff responded dismissively when I asked whether they’d refill them, and the coffee machine wasn’t working. After waiting 40 minutes, only a limited choice of food had been replenished. The staff also didn’t respond to or accommodate a personal request, which added to the bad experience.

My four-day stay at the London Hotel in Batumi was a disaster. One day the toilets had no water at all, making an already unpleasant stay even worse. The basic facilities were lacking too, with no bidet or proper toilet setup, including a shattaf. When I told the staff, they seemed unbothered and didn’t respond helpfully. They made no effort to fix things or even apologize. I’d strongly advise against the London Hotel if you want to avoid a frustrating stay. There are better options in Batumi that care about guests’ comfort.

The location is good, and the room itself is very good. The hotel is decent, but service feels lazy. Vegetarian choices are very limited, and the cooks and restaurant staff aren’t very accommodating. For everything, they’d say it was finished.

Great rooms, breakfast, and location, and the hotel itself was great too. Most of the main tourist spots are within walking distance. I’d definitely stay here again if I return to Batumi.
