The garden is a lovely place to relax, and from the third floor in the new rooms the view is fantastic. The room and bathroom looked good too. A few things brought our rating down to 3-4 stars: internet was almost nonexistent, the room felt bare, with no desk or closet, and the lighting was too bright and white with no bedside lamps. At check-in nobody explained checkout, internet, or breakfast and food.

The courtyard was a lovely place to sit and take in the views, or even have a nap, and the food was always delicious and varied at breakfast and dinner. We spent two weeks in Batumi and were picked up at the airport and brought to "House at the Sea," where we settled into a huge, cozy home. A special thank you to the whole family and staff for their warm hospitality. They were available at any hour, day or night, to answer questions and help with whatever we needed. Meeting the hosts and their children alone was worth it. We left with tears in our eyes and will definitely return. Warm wishes from Bavaria. ๐ฅฐ๐ฅฐ๐ฅฐ
