Intourist Palace Hotel

The staff were friendly, the location is handy for the main tourist sights, and breakfast was good. But the hotel is old and needs renovation, and the quality feels closer to a two-star place. Our room was in poor condition and not very clean. There was no soundproofing, so street noise from cars and people came through, even late at night. The whole place felt somewhat dirty and poorly maintained.

The location is excellent, close to both the sea and Europe Square, and the cleaning staff were kind and polite. The rest of the stay fell far short of expectations. The pool was out of service and the casino was closed while we were there. Our room was small, dark, and not properly cleaned, and the facilities looked very outdated. Reception staff were unfriendly and unhelpful, and with no visible security on site, the place felt unsafe. For the price, it wasn't good value, and I wouldn't recommend it. It didn't feel like a five-star experience at all.

The location is very good, and our room had a beautiful view of Alphabetical Tower, the park, and more. The hotel and its furniture are very old, though, and the corridors were dark, with weak lighting that felt like something from a scary movie. My wife and I stayed for three nights. I lost my room card, and the reception staff were nice and helpful. Breakfast was so-so.

The staff are warm, attentive, and ready to help with questions or requests. The lobby also has a welcoming feel. Intourist Palace Hotel mixes modern amenities with traditional hospitality, and I'd highly recommend it.
