We loved our stay as a family with a small child, and the price felt right for what we got. Our room was cozy, with a balcony where we had breakfast. It looked out over the neighbors’ backyard, and it was quiet there since the road is a dead end and the work roads are far away. The rooms have their own charming details, and balcony views differ depending on which side of the house you’re on. The photos on the hotel page are accurate. I didn’t get a chance to photograph our room. The first photo is the view to the right of the neighboring apartment from the front balcony. All the photos are mine! 😀 The shared kitchen had everything we needed, including dishes, gas and electric stoves, two refrigerators, a grocery shelf in the cupboard, and a cozy dining space with both indoor and outdoor seating. There’s also a washer and dryer in the utility room. Our child was happy sleeping in the bunk bed. A rocky beach with lovely views of Batumi is within walking distance, especially pretty at sunset. Shops, a market, and restaurants are nearby too, and taxis into Batumi are quite cheap. The Botanical Garden is close by, and we took a taxi there. There’s another beach near it, the one in my photo with the pier, as well as restaurants. We left with fond memories and beautiful photos. I recommend it!

The guesthouse is bright, simple, clean, and has balconies. The owners are very pleasant, and it’s excellent value for money. The rooms have an Ikea-style look, clean linens, air conditioning, and decent plumbing with good water pressure. Wi-Fi is excellent. The shared kitchen has plenty of dishes and everything needed to cook, including gas and electric stoves. There’s also a free washer and dryer. The dining room has three large tables, and the courtyard beside the guesthouse is cozy for eating outside. Shops are a 5-10-minute walk away, including grocery stores, pharmacies, and cafes with reasonable prices. The sea is about a 10-minute walk across the road. The pebble beach is open and clean, with surprisingly few people at the end of June. Lifeguards keep a close watch, and the area around it is very green.

The new owners are clearly enjoying the work of renovating inside and out and fixing longstanding problems. It’s a great hotel, and at this rate it’ll soon feel like five-star heaven. I definitely recommend it!

Make sure the price is agreed clearly with the owner's wife present. Otherwise, it might go up while you’re moving your things in, or you could be told the place is booked.
