Mr. Omar was especially cooperative and helped us with everything we needed. Ms. Ana and Mr. Saba were also kind and respectful, and ready to help whenever we needed them. The whole staff were helpful and kind. We had a fantastic stay at New Wave Hotel. It was comfortable and clean, and the service was excellent. I highly recommend it and will definitely come back.

We stayed at New Wave Batumi Hotel recently. The rooms were comfortable, and the windows gave us good views. It’s a tall tower, and we were on the 16th floor. The trouble started with the service. We arrived at 7 PM with five bags, but there was no bell boy to help with the luggage. We’d requested a packed breakfast for 7 the next morning because we had to catch a train. The front desk person confirmed it at check-in, but it still wasn’t ready. At 7, the front desk person and security were fast asleep. He didn’t recognize us or help with checkout, so we left our key cards on the desk and went. It was a bad experience.

I asked in advance three different times for a breakfast box for my early departure, but the staff never prepared it. I’d taken care to confirm repeatedly to avoid this exact problem, so it was especially frustrating. For a hotel of this standard, I expected communication and follow-through to be better. The mistake had a real impact on my stay, and based on my experience I can’t recommend the place.

We spent two nights at Hotel New Wave in Batumi and had a wonderful stay. The breakfast was quite OK for Indian vegetarians, and was among the best we had on our trip through Georgia. The location, service, and ambience were all really good.
