Nini Hotel

There was a huge mold patch, about 2 by 2 meters, on the wall, and the bed in our room was broken (I attached a photo). The towel had a red paint mark, the bathroom mirror light didn't work, and the bathroom door hit the bed before it could open fully. We paid 89 lari for one night in this hell. Getting to the sea took about half an hour on foot, so we went by taxi. Nobody at reception spoke English, let alone Russian, and we couldn't communicate with them. I won't ever come back, and I don't recommend this place.

We didn't even make it through two days. On the third day, they refused to give our money back. For around 2000 rubles a night, the price is far from low, and they could have done a much better job. The bed was broken, there was mold beside it, and the window looked out onto a pile of car parts. The shower was just a spot on the floor by the toilet, with no hooks to hang even a towel. At night, construction next door was noisy. They call the hotel Christina... Staff couldn't understand Russian or English. I strongly wouldn't recommend staying here. A tent in the woods would at least be quiet.

The mold really sticks in my mind. At night I started feeling like it was alive and was going to eat me. The more expensive rooms felt like a lousy hostel, with worn-out furniture, a bad smell, peeling finishes, and unsanitary conditions. The staff were awful and acted dishonestly, with no idea what service means. They even made me worry about leaving valuables in the room. A real dump, I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

For this price, I'd say it's a good choice. The rooms are spacious, the beds are comfortable, and you can get in at any hour. It's more or less central, with air conditioning and a shared refrigerator, plus a washing machine. The owners speak Russian. The view from the window isn't great, and the room wasn't perfectly clean.
