Orbi Beach Tower

For Block G, the room we got didn't match the pictures or description for the Orbi Sea Towers One Bedroom Apartment with Panoramic View. If you book without checking what was advertised, I'd give it three stars, but based on the listing, two. I booked directly through Orbi Hotels after reading complaints from people who had booked through other sites and received rooms unlike the ones shown. We had the same problem. We told reception and other staff we didn't think we'd been given the room we'd reserved and paid for. We asked for a kettle and microwave. The kettle arrived the next day, and the microwave came on day four, but it didn't work. The sea view is decent, the WiFi worked well, and the shower and sink had reliable hot water. The location along the center of the Batumi coastline is good, and having a SPAR market downstairs is handy. There was no room phone to reach reception, and the service was poor. The bed had sagged in the middle. Our bathroom started smelling bad around the shower and floor drain by day three, and there was no cleaning during our stay, which lasted over a week. The rooms on the sea side are bright at night because the Colosseum hotel / casino lights shine into the bedroom, and the curtains don't block them. The room didn't have all the listed amenities, including the microwave, kettle, and second A/C unit in the bedroom. A key card is needed for all electricity, so even the refrigerator switches off without it. You also need one to use the elevator. There was a balcony table but no chairs.
