I had a quiet room and slept well, even though it didn’t face the sea. The shower pressure was great, and the water got steaming hot at any time of day, better than what I sometimes get in five-star hotels. I stayed in Room no B1420 for eight nights, from 30th July 2025 till 8th August 2025. The room was clean and smelled fresh when I arrived. There was a working TV, fridge, and compact washer-dryer, plus a small kitchen with enough utensils for making breakfast. They also provided two complimentary water bottles, tea, coffee, and sugar sachets. For this price range, I found Orbi Plaza Hotel better than the other hotels I tried on the same trip. The location is really convenient. Mega Mall, with hundreds of shops selling international brands, is just across the road when you step outside. The Black see is about a five-minute walk away. There are a few restaurants in the complex, and Wilmart store is around 50 steps away. Money exchangers are nearby, and BOLT taxis arrive within minutes of ordering. As an English speaker, I relied a lot on Google Translate because most taxi drivers didn’t understand English. The photos shown here are from Batumi, Tbilisi, Poti all along journey while in Republic of Georgia.

I wouldn’t say these apartments are worth the money. They’re getting old and tired, and new construction has taken away much of the sea view. The stray dogs in the street below barked at all hours and woke me up. I once counted 15 in a pack. In my apartment, the stovetop was rusting, and the plumbing and outlets were coming out of the walls.

For all 14 nights we were there, the air conditioning didn’t work. We reported this serious problem to reception EVERY DAY, but they just kept making empty promises to fix it. With my wife and small child, the hot days and nights were unbearable. The service was horrible and a total disgrace. I’ll never stay at Orbi again, and I’ll discourage everyone I know from going there.

The hallways are dimly lit, which is the main downside. The hotel itself is pretty clean, with two restaurants on the building’s main level and a Willmart market.

The view from the upper floors is amazing. My apartment was neat and clean, and the staff were friendly and always glad to help. I’m happy I stayed at Orbi Plaza.
