The renovation turned out great, and the rooms are excellent now. It’s in Old Batumi, with all the most beautiful places close by. I recommend it.

We stayed with our children, and the hotel’s location made it easy to explore all of the old town on foot and get a feel for local life. The people we met were very welcoming. The hotel is a 7-minute walk from the old town center and 20-25 minutes from the beach. Our room was lovely, with a balcony and mountain view, plus a shower, toilet, air conditioning, fridge, and kettle. It may seem modest to some, but it wasn’t a “collective farm.” There’s also a terrace upstairs, and laundry costs 5 GEL. The economy-class apartment on the ground floor below the hotel is handy too. I’d recommend it to anyone coming to enjoy Adjara’s beauty and local character. It’s not for people who only want the beach and a buffet.

A nice hotel with Kalata Market nearby. I’d recommend it for a one-night stay.

The rooms were dated, though the air conditioning worked well. I chose this place on purpose, and for the price it was adequate.
