The homemade breakfast was delicious, with lots of local dishes, and our room looked out onto greenery with plenty of privacy. It's a quiet spot with spacious rooms for sleeping, and the bus to batumi stops almost right outside. A cozy atmosphere and a big room at a low price, I'd recommend it to anyone who likes those things. Greetings from Belgium!

The beds were uncomfortably hard, and there was AC in the bedrooms but none in the living room and kitchen, so spending much time there wasn't pleasant. The owner speaks a little English; none of the other people in charge do, though that's not surprising for a guest house catering mainly to Russian clientele. There were two showers, but one was too tiny to stand under. In the other, the showerhead had no holder, so you had to keep it in your hand. One drain was clogged, and so was the kitchen sink. That may be why both bathrooms smelled awful, despite the exhaust fans rattling loudly. It looked like the apartment had only been minimally cleaned after the previous guests. There were food scraps in the kitchen sink and half-dried dishes stacked on the counter. The knives were so dull they were practically like spoons, so don't expect to cook here. It wasn't an awful stay, but so many things were inconvenient or just annoying that I can't justify a higher rating.

The breakfast was really tasty, and the rooms were nice. A very nice guest house.
