Sister's Warm Guest House really felt like a home away from home. The rooms are spacious and clean, and everything inside is modern. Nadim and Guguli are sincere, lovely people who went out of their way to help. Nadim drove us wherever we wanted to go, and when we needed to catch a morning bus, they got up early to take us to the stop. A Spanish couple staying there at the same time got the same help: Nadim made sure they found the right bus for their onward journey. We’d recommend staying at Sister's Warm house if you’re visiting Batumi. Owen and Cansu.

We booked through Booking one day ahead, but on arrival the owner said they were overbooked. I can’t comment on the guesthouse itself, though the owner did help us find another place to stay.

Wi-Fi was a little slow in the five- and six-room cottage, but the hosts addressed it and offered us chacha and jam. The mini kitchenette is outside, with one wall open straight onto the garden tables. It has a gas stove, washing machine, fridge, microwave, and ironing board. There’s a bakery nearby with delicious pastries, though the queue is always long.
