Sky Inn Batumi Hotel

The location is hard to beat. The rooms were just average, though, and the breakfast was too. The lobby smelled of cigarettes and felt a little dark, which gave it an unwelcoming vibe. My rooms had a main lock, but none had a second lock on the inside.

We left less than an hour after arriving. The rooms felt cramped and poorly kept, with a cigarette smell, tiny bathrooms, and a balcony barely 1 ft x 5 ft, just enough to stand sideways. There wasn't a proper restaurant for meals, and none of the doors had locks. The building in the photos is Orbi Residence. Sky Inn is only a small hotel on the 25th floor, so the place looked nothing like the pictures. One of the worst hotel stays I've had. Avoid it.

After booking from Delhi, we arrived to find a gloomy, shabby place that reminded us of a Mumbai chawl. We weren't comfortable there and moved straight away to the nearby Best Western Hotel, which was much better and available. We would never recommend this hotel.

The beach is only a two-minute walk away, and the location is great. The rooms were OK and the bathrooms clean, but breakfast was the weakest part. There was no coffee ready, just a small boiler for hot water with tea bags and little instant coffee packets beside it. Sky Inn occupies the top two floors, 25 and 26, of another building. There's no sign for the hotel, though Google Maps makes the building easy to find. The reception desk is on the 25th floor, and the man working there was friendly.
