Victoria Hotel -Batum Massage - Sauna - Restaurant

You can walk to pretty much everything from this hotel, right in the middle of the market area. The rooms are clean and airy, and reception and the rest of the staff are polite.

The hotel’s location is handy, and there’s a large parking area across the street. Staff were very polite, friendly, and spoke Russian. Our room was clean, with a safe, hairdryer, soap, toothbrushes, and excellent bed linen. Breakfast was included, and we had a comfortable balcony and a pleasant summer terrace by the entrance. The bathroom had no ventilation, the soundproofing was poor, and a few things, including the shower head, needed small repairs. I’m giving an assessment from a hotelier’s point of view. We were just passing through Batumi and chose it based on the reviews. In the end I’d recommend it, the staff and guests were great.

Parking is right outside the entrance, and breakfast was tasty. We slept really well, the air conditioning worked great, and our clean, well-kept rooms had bathrooms with everything we needed. The welcome was very warm, and the bar service was friendly, with good English. You might not realize at first that the hotel is inside an apartment building, so look a little closer.

We were a group of six and all came away delighted. The owner made sure everything was done really well, and we had a comfortable, homelike stay. Shops are nearby, the beach is a five-minute walk, and a good restaurant is three minutes away. I’ll choose this place again when I’m in Batumi, and recommend it to anyone looking for a cozy place to stay.
