Our holiday in Batumi was completely spoiled. The room we were given was small, despite being described as de lux, and the window looked out onto construction. When we tried to change apartments, the owners refused to refund our money. It's also about an hour by bus from the city centre.

Mr. Murman and his family are great people, and this villa works well for big groups. It's far from the city centre, though you can get a taxi.
