Wehost Apartment in Orbi tower

It's a furnished apartment building with several floors that different hotel companies rent out. The rooms are soundproof, so noise from inside or outside doesn't come through. The location is the highlight: it overlooks the Batumi Corniche and is close to restaurants, cafes, and taxis. It's also a good setup if you want to cook and do laundry yourself, since everything you need is provided. But I wouldn't recommend it if you expect the hotel to handle laundry or cleaning. Different companies rent different apartments here, and when something goes wrong, it seems like nobody takes responsibility. The elevator card and the elevator itself had problems, and apparently using the elevator is a paid service, lol. We asked reception if we could buy a card so couriers could come up to our door. The girl there rudely said we'd have to come down from the 11th floor each time. There's a construction site across the street.

For the price, I'd call it a 3+. It's a large apartment rather than a regular hotel room, and it had useful things like an iron, dryer, washing machine, air conditioning, fast internet, and a view from the window. The appliances and fittings were in rough shape, though. The toilet leaked under the cistern, the fridge didn't close properly and wasn't level, and it ran noisily at night like an old Volga. The taps were loose, the TV only showed gray snow with no picture, and the shower drain pipes smelled unpleasant, as if there were no drain elbow. Payment had to be in cash.

I liked it so much that I've picked it as my favorite place for the second year running.
