Akaki's Guesthouse

The guesthouse is on the outskirts, so having a car makes getting around easier. I stayed in a modern, comfortable room on the second floor. It didn't have a view, but it had everything I needed, like a small apartment, with lots of storage, a fully equipped kitchen, and even a washing machine. I loved that the forest was only two minutes away, perfect for short evening walks and watching the sunset.

The neighbourhood is a little separated from the city centre, but it was just what we had pictured. Akaki gave us very useful travel tips for Borjomi, and even slipped us a large bottle of homemade wine. He works during the day, but didn't ask for payment upfront when we checked in. The place had everything we needed: a kitchenette and kitchenware, a washer, a hair dryer, and a proper double bed rather than two singles pushed together. After staying in at least four towns as travellers, my wife and I can honestly say this is one of the most comfortable and modern places we've found in Georgia. We had the time of our lives. We're extremely grateful and would recommend it to everyone. Matloba!

We had a lovely, spacious room with a private kitchen and bathroom, and the place was tidy and cozy. The view over Borjomi was fantastic. Our host was so friendly, helpful, and welcoming. Thank you! ☺️

Akaki was so helpful, arranging taxis for us and making us feel at home. The view from the room was absolutely amazing. The guesthouse is a little out of town, but it's worth it. Great place, great host, and I really recommend it!
