The family hosting us were lovely, and the owner speaks good English and offers a regional tour. We felt very welcome and would stay here again if we return to Borjomi. The rooms are basic but have what you need. The house is 100 years old, so naturally not everything is new, but you don't come to Borjomi just to stay indoors anyway. Thank you!

The breakfast is well worth it, and the food is great. Beds are okay and on the firm side, and the shower and bathroom are very clean. The hosts are friendly and amazing. They have maps, offer advice, and can arrange tours at decent prices. There’s also a nice garden and a very friendly dog.

The garden is lovely, and the location is perfect, only a short walk from the center. Besso and Nana made me feel at home from the moment I arrived. They kindly let me use the facilities in the house, and my room was clean and cozy. Such accommodating hosts, and I had an amazing stay. Highly recommend!

Beso gave me a reasonable price for the day trip, and we even added Atskuri at the end so I could climb up to the ruins. He drove safely, speaks English, and is kind. He also reassured me I could take my time at each stop instead of hurrying. We set off at 8am and got back around 6.30pm, visiting Vardzia Cave City, Khertvisi Fortress, Rabati (Akhaltsikhe) Castle, Atskuri Fortress, Slesa Fortress, and Green Monastery (Mtsvane Monastery). Atskuri is a ruin, and we saw Slesa just from outside. If you're traveling solo and having trouble finding a day trip, Beso is your man.
