We booked this place through Booking.com at 107 Rustaveli Street, Borjomi, 1200, Georgia, and I messaged before check-in. I got no reply. I tried calling on WhatsApp, then sent a message there and saw the person was online, but still heard nothing. Eventually they said, “We can’t accommodate you, there’s no room.” I asked how that could be, since they had confirmed our reservation the night before and had no right to cancel it. Then came a string of excuses: they had no room, Booking.com was at fault for letting the reservation go through, and the person I’d contacted wasn’t the owner but had the owner’s phone number and told us to call. When we did, he dodged the issue and said his assistant had made a mistake. We said, “Okay, cancel the reservation.” They said they didn’t remember their Booking password and would text us later. After that, they stopped answering our calls and wouldn’t respond through Booking’s service either. These people are shameless and are damaging their country’s image. It’s a disgrace.
