The spa might not be for everyone, since the sulfur water is still warm at the spring. Even so, this was one of the most magical hotels I've ever stayed at.

The spa might not be for everyone, since the sulfur water is still warm at the spring. Even so, this was one of the most magical hotels I've ever stayed at.
The meals were a real highlight, the kitchen staff made food that completely blew us away. I spent Christmas here, surrounded by snowy mountains and trees, and it felt like being in a fairytale. Such a peaceful, beautiful spot. I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a nature getaway with a little magic.
Those quiet days in the forest were exactly what I needed. I spent 10 days in a cozy cottage, breathing fresh air, eating healthy food, and enjoying the natural baths. It felt like a little paradise, and the atmosphere was so homey that I was sorry to leave. The staff were all kind, attentive, cheerful, and eager to help. Mrs. Marina deserves special respect for the way she runs the place. It's one of my favorite stays, and I'd happily come back. I definitely recommend it.
Meals come three times a day, and it's very good value, though I'd bring condiments such as tkemali, hot sauce, or ketchup. The manager speaks English, and the staff are extremely kind. This is a budget friendly forest resort with a spring spa said to help with skin conditions. The feel is more like a summer camp or traditional Caucasus resort than a modern spa. There are pleasant trails to walk, and the cable car over the gorge is fantastic.
The cable car ride is part of the trip to the hotel and is worth mentioning. One way to get there is to take a regular train from Tbilisi, Kutaisi, Poti, or elsewhere to Moliti train station, then arrange for the hotel minibus to collect you. Be sure to tell them your arrival time ahead of time. It's a quiet forest setting, good for fresh air and a break from the city. We had a simple wooden house with a shared bathroom, clean and comfortable enough. The staff were friendly and spoke English and Russian. Food was good, with enough choices for different tastes. There are baths for skin problems, short walks, a basketball court, and a small bar.
