The host was very nice, though he couldn't speak English, and we had a pleasant stay for a good price. Some rooms open straight onto the beach with a balcony and excellent views. There's a kitchen if you want to cook, and meals are available too. A shop for everyday food and beer is about a five-minute walk away.

If you want a quiet beach holiday without much walking, this guesthouse is a great fit. It has two houses in one yard: one looks right over the beach, and the other is 20 meters away. From either one, you're at the sea in 20-30 seconds. The beach is a bay to the left of Castelo Mare, and it wasn't crowded at all in September. There's a cafe upstairs in the beachside building serving delicious food. The lighthouse and Bamboo Cafe are 10-15 minutes away. They always answer the contact number.
