Farvana

The owner was kind enough to let us pick tomatoes for dinner, and breakfast was hearty and good. The rooms were comfortable and cozy, with lovely woodwork and architecture. From the place, the valley view is amazing, and it’s completely quiet, a real hideaway. It’s easy to find, with signs throughout the village, though a 4x4 is recommended to drive right up to the front door. There was also a very large, friendly dog who kept sniffing our bags and got a bit annoying, but he eventually went away. A perfect place, it felt like paradise.

Bring your own food, since there aren’t any restaurants nearby, though the kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need. The hosts made our stay special, even baking cookies for us when we left, and they prepared wood for the fireplace. The view was amazing, and the whole place is beautiful, all made of wood. We’ve never slept anywhere so pleasant and distinctive. At first we thought we’d keep it to ourselves, but it was too perfect not to share. So glad we found it, highly recommend!

The family who owns this beautiful cottage made the best part of our stay even better. It was the most amazing experience we had in all of Georgia, an absolute must. Thanks for such a great stay!

The drive up from the main road is pretty steep, with a little adrenaline along the way, but the views are stunning. The place is beautiful, and the older gentleman who runs it was lovely. He shared some of his produce with us and told us a bit about the area.
