KOLKHETI JIBO Beach

The three of us stayed at Kolkheti Inn in mid-June 2021, and it became one of our best memories from beautiful Georgia. I’ve stayed in hostels and hotels around the world, but this place really felt like one of a kind. The rooms were incredibly clean and well equipped for the price, and the beach is only a minute away. Poti might leave you wondering what to do, but there’s plenty to enjoy right there; the national park of potti is less than 10 minutes away by car, with an atmosphere like the Amazon. The hosts are cool and welcoming without getting in your way. I hardly ever write reviews, even when something’s exceptional, but I had to this time. I’d definitely come back and recommend it to anyone.

We only stayed a night, but it was a great visit. The rooms were great and right by the beach, and both dinner and breakfast were delicious. The host was nice. Greetings from the Danish tourists.

Dinner is simple and really tasty, and he also serves his own wine, fresh from his Qvevri. Jibo is a great host, friendly and open minded, and always trying to make his guests happy. We’ll be back.

The place feels a bit empty right now, though I guess it may still develop and become more like the other part of the coast. The sea is just behind the rooms. The people are kind and smiley, and the guys really try to make you comfortable. Our room was big, with a small balcony to sit on. We didn’t eat here, but there’s a big garden with a barbecue and a large room you can use if you need it. A great experience overall.
