We only agreed to stay because we didn’t want to be left outside with the children. The owner was friendly while showing us the room, but the conditions didn’t justify the 108 GEL price at all. It was a three-bed room for four, with a shared bathroom. The owner supplied a folding bed and said extra beds usually cost more, but this one would be free. The room wasn’t impressive: old furniture and things left in the closets, dirty bedside tables, and a strange smell, like incense or something. It was very hot on the second floor, up a steep staircase. There was a fan, but it barely helped. Preparing breakfast was difficult because the appliances weren’t very clean.

The villa is right by the beach, and it’s a beautiful setting, but the beach is littered and not cleaned. The sand is black and magnetic, and people say it has healing properties. You have to cross about a meter of stones to get into the sea, then it’s sand. There aren’t any cafes nearby. You can order lunch and dinner here, and the kebab was great, as were the soups. Soup costs 4-5 lari and kebab 9 lari. Across the road, they sell fruit, vegetables, suluguni, and nuts, and bake lavash and khachapuri. I thought the price and quality were well matched.

Booking.com showed breakfast as included, but when we asked, they politely sent us away and said it had been listed by mistake. The beach was the dirtiest I've ever seen in all my years vacationing by the sea, with trash everywhere and no sign it had been cleaned. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.
