The hostel has good equipment, and the staff are friendly and helpful. There aren't enough sockets for charging phones and other things, and the bathroom smells damp, so it needs much better ventilation.

We've rented equipment from the ground floor for three years. They take payment upfront, with discounts if you rent for more than three days. The staff help patiently with finding boots and swapping pairs until you get comfortable ones, and they set your shoes beside the radiator to warm up. This year I was injured and had to stop skiing early. They refunded me for the days I couldn't use.

The staff were nice, and the place was clean. It's also well placed for getting to the first ski lift.
