The clean, well-kept rooms and pleasant surroundings were good, but the service really affected our stay. Staff were unwelcoming, refused basic drinks, and charged 5 GEL for even a small bottle of water. There was no room cleaning during our visit, and essentials like paper towels weren't supplied. The chalet only serves breakfast, with no lunch or dinner, which is inconvenient because food choices nearby are limited. A taxi to a nearby restaurant costs around 27 GEL each way. The accommodation itself is good, but the lack of hospitality and basic services was a big drawback.

The staff were kind and welcoming, parking was plentiful, and the breakfast was good, especially the range of choices for non-vegetarians. I stayed during summer and was surprised by how pleasant the weather was. The rooms were clean and neat, though I'm unsure how it qualifies as a three-star hotel. It felt like a basic bed-and-breakfast place. There's a bar-restaurant, but I only saw it being used at breakfast. The nearest supermarket is about 1.5 km uphill.

The view was wonderful and the staff were good, but the hotel is nice and very quiet, with no restaurant nearby. There was no mirror, toothbrush or toothpaste, or cupboard in the room. Breakfast didn't have many options, and the service wasn't very good.

We had to carry our bags up to the third floor ourselves because there's no elevator or bellboy. The whole hotel smelled bad, including reception, and the rooms had a sewage smell from the nearby sewage springs. Our room was dirty, there was water on the toilet floor, and the refrigerator was rotten. I wouldn't recommend this place at all. Never book here.

At Pine Chalets, the staff were fantastic, friendly, and accommodating. When we returned late from our tour and found no restaurants open, they even brought us a fruit platter. Our room was cozy, the area around it was incredibly relaxing, and breakfast was enjoyable and sufficient. It was chilly, but everything around us was still lush and green. We didn't get to try the outdoor hot tub, though we did enjoy the game room with its pool table, darts, and foosball. We had a wonderful stay from September 25-27.
