Nino, the owner, is a very nice woman, and Leo the cook did his best to make what we wanted, including local dishes we'd hoped to try. They helped us with everything during a fantastic stay. When I was injured, they even gave me a cane to help me get around. The place is very clean and quiet, around 12 minutes from the ski slopes, and the local Georgian food is excellent.
Chef Leo takes care of everything, and the staff make you feel truly welcome with their friendly, helpful service. It's a simple guesthouse, but clean, comfortable, and warm in atmosphere. The hospitality is excellent. A lovely place with good value if you're after a genuine stay.
February 2019 We were a group of 20 and all enjoyed this warm, cozy guesthouse for our skiing trip. The staff were friendly and helpful with whatever we needed. Such a lovely place, thanks so much for everything!
For this kind of hotel, I'd give it a solid 4 stars. It's affordable and cozy. It can get noisy sometimes, though I couldn't hear the road or trailers. The guesthouse is popular and often full. Weather can also make the location hard to reach, so keep that in mind.
The homemade wine was smooth and delicious, and Chef Livan was such a sweetheart, always looking after what everyone needed. I loved the home-cooked food, the beautiful scenery, and the quiet of nature. Our room felt delightfully homey, and the hosts were wonderful and responsible. I left in tears because I didn't want to go. What a lovely place, I dream of coming back!
