New Gudauri 2 Bedrooms Excellent View

The hostess was very helpful, and the place was clean and warm even with the polar winter outside. For peak season, the value was acceptable. Finding it took some effort without calling or asking for help, and parking was just a matter of luck on the street during a busy weekend. The apartment was well equipped but basic, with no coffee maker or toaster, and the furniture was somewhat worn. It was also a bit smaller than described: it was sold as a two-bedroom, but the second bedroom was actually a loft.

There are several bars and restaurants nearby, and the grocery store across the street is great. The building also has a convenient locker area. The location is central and close to the gondola, though it definitely isn't ski-in/ski-out. Construction quality seems poor and is already showing wear despite the building being only a few years old. You can hear everything in the neighboring units.

The local staff raced snowmobiles along the footpaths at night, nearly hitting tourists. During heavy snowfall, nobody cleared the parking area, making it very dangerous to go down without getting hurt. The service was awful. The local administration and owners clearly don't seem to care about any of this as long as they get paid.

The room was filthy, from the bedding and dishes to the walls, and the refrigerator didn't work. The heating was inadequate, and the old towels were leaky and mismatched, as were the slippers. The black sofa shown in the picture was covered with dirty, cheap foam. In the so-called kitchen there was just one outlet, so using the microwave meant unplugging the kettle. In the shower, water started spilling everywhere after a minute or two unless you shut it off. The service was awful too. A receptionist burped in front of us, and if you had a problem you were sent to another building. Check-out wasn't handled there either, we had to go to building 4. They couldn't solve anything, just take the keys. It was nauseating. Calling this an apartment feels ridiculous, it's a room with a sort of kitchen and a toilet. Worst place I've stayed. DON'T GO THERE!!!
