The service was the worst part. We asked where the room's trash bin was, and staff just showed us the owner's phone number and expected us to call. They said they only handle check-in at reception and that we should contact the owner for everything else. It seems the rooms are owned separately, without one central management team. We got just one room key, regardless of how many guests were staying. When we asked for another, the front desk wanted an extra charge and looked unimpressed. The room had no ventilation or air conditioning except in the toilet, and no window unless you count the balcony door, which meant taking a risk to open it. Breakfast was nearly the same each day, with about 90% of it cold. There was no coffee machine, so you had to queue for hot coffee or water from a pot. The fresh fruit was a plus.

The beds made sleeping a real struggle. The sheet kept slipping off the single bed, and the sofa bed for the third person was practically unusable, hard on one side and softer on the other. In the morning, the two elevators seemed badly coordinated, so getting down from the 5th floor took a long time. The location is hard to beat, just 2 minutes from the gondola. Our room was roomy with a great view, the bathroom had reliable hot water, and the ski lockers were handy. Service was the biggest letdown. The ski rental staff were rude and impatient, and gave us a board with loose bindings that we had to struggle with throughout the trip. The minimarket staff were unpleasant too. The room was clean when we arrived, but there's no daily housekeeping. It feels like calling the place an apartment is a way to skip regular hotel services.

The beds were poor, especially the mattresses. Ours was extremely soft, while our friends got a very firm one. Breakfast was average, nothing special. For a night, a fair price would be 200 gel at most. At the lobby, we were talking among ourselves while waiting when the security guard rudely told us to keep our voices down. He did apologize later, but it was strange to be spoken to that way when our bookings are what pay his salary. UPDATE The hotel's response below is completely wrong. Atrium administration, why are you checking the camera footage from the evening of 22 jan? The photo clearly shows your hotel and your security guard. That response was so unprofessional. Have you considered that people use nicknames online?

The location was good, but the experience was upsetting. We stayed at Go Gudauri – Mariam Apartments of The Atrium Residence from 23-25 Dec 2025. After we checked out, the apartment owner, Miss Mariam Gadrani, accused us of damaging furniture and demanded 200 GEL without providing proof. We then received threatening messages about police involvement and being stopped at the border. There was even a fake call from a woman claiming to be police, Miss Ana. We paid through our agent to avoid ruining our family holiday. It felt like intimidation and harassment of tourists, and was very disturbing. I wouldn't recommend staying at Mariam apartments of Atrium. If you do, insist on a physical room check and get written confirmation that everything is okay.
