We stayed here during a six-day hiking trip, and the food and coffee were the best we had. The garden and views are beautiful, a real hidden gem. It’s run by two young hosts who are warm, welcoming and always smiling. You can tell they put a lot of effort into making the stay great.

The place is beautiful and clean, but I wouldn’t eat there. Dinner, breakfast and the lunch bag cost too much for how little food you get. We paid more than at the places before and ate less, so I was hungry all day.

I didn’t book ahead here, the only time I skipped a reservation during my four-day hike from Mestia to Ushguli, and it turned out to be the most welcoming place of the trip. On my last day, they even packed me a lunch bag with vegetables, plus extra lobiani and kubdari for the hike. After tiring days on the trail, this family offers travelers in Kalde genuine hospitality and a relaxing atmosphere. I really hope more people discover this lovely guesthouse. Thank you so much, and all the best!

At the end of a rainy day, we had a long, cozy dinner, enjoyed some music, and even got to learn how to make proper lobiani. The location at Qaldea resort is beautiful, and the food was amazing. The two young owners were lovely and attentive to what we needed. We had a fantastic evening and night. Thanks again for the experience!

The bathrooms are lovely stone rooms with warm showers, and after a full day of walking, the garden is a great place to relax. The mountain view is spectacular, especially from the hammock. We didn’t eat here, but staying the night and stargazing was just perfect.
