My husband and I had a lovely anniversary weekend here, and I especially recommend the Rtveli package. We picked and crushed grapes, made churchkhela and khachapouri, tasted wine, and toured the cellars. The spa was a unique experience too, with a wine bath and grape seed scrub, and the two women there looked after us so well. The food was really good, including some signature dishes only served at the hotel. The facilities are a bit old, though clean. Nina gave us a charming, informative look at the winemaking and cellars. Luka was great fun and handled every little request graciously. He also arranged a beautiful private dinner table and helped us with his excellent photography. A wonderful quiet retreat for a couple.

The spa facilities are beautiful and clean, the prices felt very fair, and I loved having a wine bath during our stay. Service was prompt and well organized, with a good range of options. I've visited a few spas in Georgia where it wasn't clear what you were paying for or things felt disorganized, but that wasn't an issue here. We loved staying at the property, and the spa is a great addition. My one complaint is that it opens at 11am, which seems late if you want a treatment on checkout day. It was also quite booked during my stay, so an earlier start would help. Still highly recommended.

A good place to stay, but I wouldn't call it very family friendly. There are two open pools with no one supervising them, and there's no wading pool. Apart from a small playground, there isn't really anything for kids.
