Guest House Nina

We stayed in a fourth-floor room with a sea view in July, and everything in it worked well, including the fridge, TV, shower, and water pressure. The guesthouse is in excellent shape. The sea is less than a minute away on foot, even though the property isn't right on the beach. Shops, cafes, the central market, pharmacies, and currency exchanges are all easy to reach on foot. The hosts were warm and helpful. There's also a shared kitchen with a big fridge and a stone barbecue.

The winter room was cold, damp, and moldy even with the radiator, and the host offered a heater for 100 lari. We thought seasonal conditions were just like that everywhere, but now we have a comparison: we found a warm, cozy room for less. Noise was another problem. The hosts' private area and the hotel aren't clearly separated, so activities happen right outside the door, including the owners' loud celebrations late at night.

I stayed three nights. Rooms in the new section were okay, but the older part smelled unpleasant. The balcony door had handles on both sides and came with a key, yet it couldn't be locked, so someone could get into the room from the balcony. In the bathroom, the shower tray had no screen and water spread everywhere. Breakfast was a mess: no tea or coffee, and the food arrived cold because they couldn't cook quickly enough for a group of 16. It was potatoes with a sausage-like product, with nothing for children. It was a shame there wasn't more local food, since it was delicious.

The rooms were simple but cozy, and the air conditioner worked perfectly. It's a lovely, quiet spot by the sea, close enough to head to the beach straight from the room in a swimsuit. There's a Spar right next door. The hosts welcomed us warmly from the first day with wine and pastries, looked after us, and helped however they could. When we left, Mamuka even drove us and our things to the station for free. Thank you so much, and all the best.
