We didn’t get the room we’d booked, and the house still seemed to be under construction. The room had plain walls and wooden floors, no decoration, and wasn’t clean. It was about a 20-minute walk to the city center. The place felt hardly livable, and there were bugs everywhere.
The family was so sweet, and there was lots of fruit. We could use the washing machine too. There were two toilets, one bathroom, two nice balconies, and a lovely little kitchen. Such a nice place, thank you so much!
Manana and Shalvar are the best part of this guest house. They really enjoy doing what they can to look after visitors and keep them happy. There’s a big living room with cooking equipment, spacious bedrooms, a generous balcony, modern toilets and shower, and a washing machine. Out back, there’s a lit picnic table that seats 10 for carrying on a cheap chat late into the night. There’s also an indoor ping-pong table and an outdoor pool. It isn’t a luxury place, but it’s decent and not expensive, with the facilities you’d need for modern life.
We only stayed for one night, and wished we could have stayed longer. The owner was lovely and helpful, and our room was spacious, clean, and peaceful. A lovely place in Telavi.
For a comfortable, quiet stay in Telavi, this guesthouse is a great choice. Manana and Shalvar are wonderful hosts, so kind and caring.
