Aeetes Palace

The balcony had a nice view, the shower and breakfast were good, and the price was cheap. The location was nice too. But the room felt old and a bit dirty, with yellow stains in the toilet. The linens were dirty and had holes and spots, and the room hadn't been cleaned properly before we arrived. White curtains meant it was always somewhat bright. WiFi was poor, there were two cups but no water cooker, and the heater didn't work at all. Dogs in the neighborhood barked all night, and we also had a power cut for a few hours.

We were told on arrival that a malfunction had made our room unavailable, so we were moved to Hotel David. That alternative didn't meet our expectations. The hotel arranged transport and replacement accommodation, but didn't take responsibility for the reason we had to move.

We spent just one night here before an early flight home. It's an old house with big rooms, and The White Bridge, which leads into the town center, is only metres away.

We planned a few days and ended up staying a week. The staff, cleanliness, and decor were fantastic, and I felt very welcome and at home. There's a restaurant, breakfast is included, and there's even a coffee shop. Owner David and managers Giorgi were always around and ready to help with anything, and their English was great. Thank you for such a lovely stay. I recommend this hotel!
