Tamara is a kind, lovely host, and the guesthouse has a rustic charm, with creepers climbing the walls. We could browse the library and take books to our room to read at night. From the verandah, Bagrati Cathedral looked fantastic, and waking up to the church bells was amazing. The floors creaked as we walked around, and we would have liked the bathrooms to be cleaner.

You can walk down to Kutaisi old town in just a few minutes from this perfect guest house. It's next to royal Bagrati cathedral, with a panorama over the city. The hosts are very friendly and speak great English.

Tamara speaks good English, so it was much easier to communicate with her than usual, and we learned a few things from her too. The room was clean and simple, and the view from this wonderful location in Kutaisi was probably the best. There's no dinner, but there's a good restaurant next door with a view. I'd recommend it!
