The guest house is a converted old Georgian home, and it still has that traditional character. I had a private room, while the dorm rooms were spacious too, with bunks that didn’t feel cramped. The living area is huge, the kitchen is roomy and fully equipped, and the wifi was good enough for videos. There’s a lovely terrace for drinks, and towels were provided for the shared bathrooms and showers. The hosts were wonderful and willing to go out of their way to help. The woman speaks English, and they both know a lot about Georgia. One of the hosts makes wine and let me try several glasses. He knows Georgian wines well, and I was impressed enough to buy five bottles at a very good price for the quality. That’s worth two special stars, plus one for the hosts and three for the essentials. Total 5/5.
