The owner was kind and welcoming, and the guesthouse has a cozy feel. But the sound carries badly, from footsteps and noise both inside and outside. The owner’s daughter was extremely rude and unprofessional, which made us uncomfortable. Paying guests should receive basic respect. I hope management takes this seriously, because the place has potential if the rest of the staff show the same warmth as the owner.

Litoros is right in the centre, about 10-15 minutes on foot from the main sights and 20 minutes from Bagrati Cathedral. You can even see the cathedral from the balcony. The rooms are clean, warm and quiet, the beds are comfortable, and every room has its own toilet and shower. Everything worked perfectly during my stay, unlike the technical issues or cold rooms I’ve run into at some other Georgian guesthouses. The hosts are generous and friendly, and breakfast, wine or cognac are available for extra money. I can’t think of anything to complain about. Other guesthouses could learn from them.

We didn’t feel welcome here, which stood out after weeks in Georgia. The rooms are so noisy that passing footsteps feel like someone is right inside. At 10:30 pm, tired and hoping to rest, we politely asked the owner if she could take her phone call somewhere else from the bench outside our room. She didn’t seem pleased. In the morning, instead of a greeting, we were told, “you can pay now.” With that noise and reception, I wouldn’t recommend this place for a rest.

I spent two nights here in May 2023 while on a bicycle trip. The welcome was lovely, the room was very good, and there’s a handy self-service kitchen. Perfect accommodation, highly recommended.
