They even made us dinner when we arrived late in the evening. Excellent.

There’s a pleasant garden in front of the building, and it was quiet at night since the property sits a little off the main road. The staff were really friendly. Our room was small and had little storage, but it was clean and the beds were comfortable. The place had just been refurbished and still smelled of fresh paint when we arrived. There’s no proper restaurant, and meals were served in a room that looked like a repurposed conference room. The location is reasonable, within an easy half-hour walk of the city center.

I had to stay here for one night because of a tour, and I hope I never have to return. Room 205 smelled of fungus and seemed to be near the kitchen. I only got four hours of sleep, and even that was cut short: loud staff conversations woke me at 6 AM, while machines right beside the room made the whole place shake. It sounded like breakfast was being prepared. The Wi-Fi was awful and kept disconnecting. Breakfast was a sad joke, very limited and made from leftovers, like rice with hot dogs.

The rooms are new and comfortable, and the staff are professional, friendly, and speak English well. It’s a good hotel, though a 15-20 minute walk from the city center. Breakfast choices are quite limited, and the entrance beside a gas station may not make the best impression.
