Hotel Georgian

We planned to stay two nights, but left after the first morning. On May 1, after check-in and dinner, the owner approached us and seemed friendly and chatty. The next morning he was outside our room again, acting friendly. While we were at breakfast, my boyfriend remembered he’d left something in the room and went back. He found the owner inside, going through our bags and stealing. The man got on his knees and begged my boyfriend to forgive him. We took our things and left. We didn’t call the police because we didn’t think anything would happen to him. We warned the other guests at breakfast and reception to check their luggage. Please be careful.

The manager looked after us very well and treated guests like family. The rooms were clean, the hospitality fantastic, and the location worked well for reaching the city center. The price was affordable and worthwhile, and the hotel parking area felt secure.

The location is really convenient for the places you might want to visit in Kutaisi, and Bolt rides never cost more than 8 lari. Our room was very spacious and so clean I was impressed. The view was beautiful, the staff friendly, and the owner such a nice, helpful person. They took care of everything, including a really good breakfast, and made us feel comfortable. Their hospitality and manners were lovely. I recommend it completely based on my own experience. They didn’t ask me to write this, I just wanted to share it. I can’t say much more, but it’s all true from what I experienced.

I’m at the hotel now, and it’s quiet, comfortable, and convenient. The staff are very attentive, and the hotel is a unique place in Kutaisi. They may be able to give you a room early if one is available. I definitely recommend it.
