After arriving in Kutaisi, I sat in a cafe looking for a hotel, had some chacha and wine, then agreed to stay at this place for a week. I showed up drunk, paid them, and fell asleep. The room was cold, and I think they had deliberately turned off the heating. I caught a cold. Early the next morning, a man came into my room and said I'd left the tap open, so I had to leave. They wouldn't return my money. He was that Nino woman's husband or boyfriend. This was my experience of Georgian hospitality. If you want to lose money, come to this guesthouse. It's an unguesthouse, an anti-guesthouse. I hope they go bankrupt.

I really liked the garden, especially the two private bungalows, and the guest rooms were spotless too. The beds were comfortable, and there’s a nicely decorated dining area with a piano and all sorts of keepsakes. The kitchen was spotless and had what we needed to make a meal. The host was lovely, and so was her homemade wine. Highly recommend.

Nino’s breakfast and her husband’s wine are both worth trying. The room was always clean, and the staff were consistently cheerful. Nino, the owner, was one of the kindest people we met on our trip around Georgia. The value for the price is hard to beat. I’d recommend it without hesitation, 5/5.

We only stayed one day, which was a shame. The host was incredibly kind and offered to arrange a taxi or trips to a nearby canyon, waterfall, and monastery. She also suggested good places to eat in Kutasi. Be sure to order breakfast: ours had fresh berries, cucumbers, tomatoes, meat, and delicious pancakes.

A small, well-kept garden makes a nice spot to relax, and there’s free Wi-Fi. Parking is on the street. This is a lovely family-run B&B, with comfortable rooms and beds and top-notch hospitality.
