There's a little kitchenette for cooking, plus free tea and coffee. The clean bathroom had a very nice hot shower, and our room was spacious with a comfortable bed. The mattress felt new and firm, which I liked. It's around 2km from both the main bus station and Kutaisi center, so the location worked well for us. There's also a good spot around the corner for inexpensive local food and beer or wine. The family running the place were welcoming and friendly. I'd stay again.

After we came back two days later, my friend found her own hair under the pillow. The sheets hadn't been changed for at least two days, and who knows how long they'd been used before that. Sharing bed linen around the world, fun, right? :) The reception woman barely understands Russian and doesn't speak English. Instead of cleaning or changing the sheets, she was watching TV and eating sunflower seeds. That's all she seems to do. Disgusting place, avoid it! :(

I was welcomed late at night by the owner, who offered me homemade cognac, and we had a lovely chat. The hotel was warm, clean, and pleasant. Breakfast the next morning was delicious before I drove on to Tbilisi. If I'm in Kutaisi again, I'll definitely choose Hotel Palm!!! 🙂

The internet was fast, and the hotel had what I needed for both relaxing and getting work done. It's in excellent shape, and the host gave us a very warm welcome with a taste of homemade wines. I wish I could stay longer!
