Hotel West Way

For a short stay, this budget-friendly hotel is okay, though comfort could be better. The breakfast was average, and sound from other rooms made it harder to sleep. My room had a small balcony, but there’s no lift, which can be inconvenient. The amenities are basic, and there’s room to improve the service.

The staff were genuinely kind and helpful, and when I went downstairs to report the problems, they responded quickly and fixed them. They also shared a WhatsApp number for further help. The hotel was clean, and reception stayed open around the clock. At check-in, though, I found a broken shower head and a stiff door lock that was difficult to open. There was no elevator, so carrying our luggage upstairs was tiring. Our room also had no water, tea or coffee, kettle, or intercom to call reception, which meant another trip downstairs. Breakfast was another awkward part. At 08:00 the restaurant was already full, so we had to take our food back to the room. The staff did their best, but the facilities need work to make a stay here more comfortable and relaxing.

It’s easy enough to find, about a 25-minute walk from Kutaisi centre. The hotel looks nice and clean, and the rooms have good air conditioners and comfortable beds. The shower facilities are decent, too. Staff are friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was good, though not great.

The breakfast was really tasty for us Arabs. The hotel feels brand new and modern, with elegant furniture and a lovely balcony. Every worker we met was professional, sweet, kind, and helpful whenever we got confused. The male and female owners at reception were especially caring and good-hearted. We had a pleasant stay 🩷.
