Inside, the hostel was better than its slightly creepy exterior suggested. The owner made the stay difficult, though. At first she seemed fine, but then she started telling me when to eat and go to my room, which toilet to use, and where and when I could plug in my devices. She also wouldn’t let me leave my backpack after checkout, so I had to carry all my things around while sightseeing. That really took away from my time in the city.
